The past twelve months has been another successful year for Storey, with occupancy up 19% year-on-year.
This has been driven by a busy year of leasing across Storey, particularly for Paddington Central, with both 4 Kingdom Street and 2 Kingdom Street fully let.
Overall, since January 2022, Storey has welcomed 20 new customers – including leading transport business Avanti, international tech company Docusign, property consultancy business Stace and many more from a diverse range of sectors.
Existing Storey customers have also continued to increase usage of the space within the portfolio too. Following the refurbishment of 155 Bishopsgate in December last year, which includes 23,000 sq ft of brand new Storey space, global tech recruitment group, Levin, relocated after its third upsize, previously occupying Storey space at 1FA and 100 Liverpool Street in Broadgate.
Over the past year, Storey has seen more businesses adapt the way they work – and reviewing types of leasing structures and how they use office space forms part of this.
Storey has seen record levels of retention over the past year, with many customers staying loyal to the brand as they see the benefits of greater flexibility, a high quality fit-out and a more personalised service.
In line with the rise of face-to-face meetings, more customers have been using Storey Club and the event space over the past year too – space designed to host meetings, workshops and events.
Beyond this, Storey has donated more than 300 hours of usage for Storey Club space for community projects, as well as more than 750 hours to support the Ukrainian Institute to provide English courses for Ukrainian refugees – equating to around £175,000 in value.
Looking ahead, 2023 is set to be another successful year – with a number of new businesses joining our portfolio, including Zedonk at 6 Orsman Road and Juvanescence at 338 Euston Road as well as a number of lease renewals including Datastax at Wells Street and Solaris at 2 Kingdom Street.
While five Storey buildings are fully let, 1FA ,6 Orsman Road and 338 Euston Road includes Storey office space available for businesses looking to move, with the added benefit of being on British Land’s Broadgate and Regent’s Place Campuses.
